DESCRIPTION:The most jolly parade in West Michigan! \n\n\n\nSanta Claus arrives in Downtown Holland during the annual Parade of Lights\, escorted by 90 floats\, commercial vehicles\, walkers\, and marching bands…all decked out from top to bottom in thousands of sparkling lights! Come see why this brightly lit holiday procession on Tuesday\, December 1 is fun for the entire family and a holiday tradition for the entire community! \n\n\n\nThe Parade of Lights will begin at the corner of 8th Street and Columbia Avenue at 6:30 pm sharp and proceed west down 8th Street until it reaches the Holland Civic Center Place at 150 West 8th Street. \n\n\n\n8th Street will be closed for the Parade of Lights beginning at 2:00 pm on December 1\, but free public parking can be found in the parking lots on 7th and 9th Streets\, in the 7th and 9th Street Parking Decks and at the Holland Civic Center Place. \n\n\n\nThe Parade of Lights is proudly sponsored by Gentex Corporation. Be sure to look for them as they lead the parade with a special treat for all of the children in attendance! (Please note that there will be no other candy out during the parade.) DESCRIPTION:Magic at the Mill returns to Windmill Island Gardens for the fifth year in a row this December!  \n\n\n\nJoin us for a magical holiday experience on Friday and Saturday nights December 4 – 19\, 2026. This ticketed event will feature a ‘tulip field’ of 1\,000 LED blossoms dancing to holiday music creating a dazzling light and music show! The windmill and park grounds will be lit up and attractions will be open such as the carousel for children\, the street organ will play holiday tunes\, and the gift shops will be open for last minute holiday shopping. There will also be an opportunity for children to greet Sinterklaas (the Dutch predecessor of Santa Claus) along with additional snacks and beverages available for purchase. \n\n\n\nMagic at the Mill will be a family-friendly experience fun for all ages! Tickets are $10 for adults ages 16 and up\, $5 for children ages 3-15\, and children 2 and under get in free. Get your tickets before they sell out!
