And as part of the Downtown Holland Social District\, patrons ages 21+ can enjoy an adult beverage while strolling down 8th Street during the event. \n\n\n\nThe 2026 Street Performer Series is proudly sponsored by Gentex Corporation. DESCRIPTION:Holland Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the return of the Summer Concert Series in 2025. \n\n\n\nResidents and visitors alike are invited to join in the excitement at the Kollen Park Bandshell every Friday evening to enjoy a free community concert. The series kicks off June 12 and will occur every Friday evening through August 14. These free community concerts are once again made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsors\, Blain’s Farm & Fleet\, Haworth\, and Barber Ford of Holland. \n\n\n\nConcerts are free to attend and begin at 6:30 PM and last approximately two hours. Indoor bathrooms\, lots of parking\, and a beautiful waterfront view make Kollen Park an ideal place to take in the sounds of summer. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy dinner overlooking Lake Macatawa\, while enjoying this year’s diverse musical line-up. With a different musical guest & food vendor featured weekly\, guests are sure to find a night that fits their interests.

After winning three WYCE JAMMIE Awards\, and traveling to Memphis as an International Blues Challenger as Frontman for Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish; The Reverend Jesse Ray has the chops and attitude to rock any stage solo. No venue is safe in the wake of this crushing and primal Rock and Roll phenomenon\, yet one thing is certain: less is more. \n\n\n\nMy new “Collector” record is a return to my roots as a songwriter\, and as a rocker.  I went back to Goon Lagoon in Grand Rapids to work with the legendary Dick Chiclet and find my voice.  It turns out I didn’t really have to look too hard for it.  I really do feel in many ways that this is my first record.  It oozes with the vintage feel and style that 2016’s “Angry” had\, but it sounds more mature and thoughtful\, while maintaining its wild unpredictability.  This is the record that I have always wanted to make; A heavy rocker with no b-sides\, no dumb lyrics\, and all attitude.  Kitten Redman from Kitten and the Tonics played upright bass on half the record\, and gave it a nice rockabilly flair and bounce.  I could write forever about how easy it was for everything to come together in the studio\, and how proud I am of this work.  Dick told me it’s my best work to date.  This record is my heartbeat\, my soul\, and my daily life that I’ve chosen to share with the listener.  So give it a spin\, a little rock and roll won’t kill you.”
