Holland Parks & Recreation and the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council will host the City’s annual 4th of July fireworks at Kollen Park beginning at dusk. The Holland American Legion Band will also host their usual Tuesday concert at the bandshell at 7:30 pm\, with food trucks available all evening! \n\n\n\nHappy 4th of July from all of us in Downtown Holland!

The Series is entirely free to attend\, but tipping the performers is highly encouraged as your way of saying thanks! And as part of the Downtown Holland Social District\, patrons ages 21+ can enjoy an adult beverage while strolling down 8th Street during the event. \n\n\n\nThe 2024 Street Performer Series is proudly sponsored by Gentex Corporation. Please join us in thanking them for their support and in celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary all summer long! Let’s honor history\, celebrate resilience\, and embrace the spirit of Juneteenth! \n\n\n\nBring your friends\, family\, and neighbors for a day of fun\, learning\, and togetherness! \n\n\n\nAll funds raised will help I AM Academy continue providing representation\, mentorship\, and opportunities for our Black Youth in the West Michigan area and allow us to provide student scholarships for over 20 local youth to attend our annual Summer College Tour! \n\n\n\nI AM Academy’s theme this year is “I AM the Dream\,” which focuses on helping our students see and achieve their goals! “I AM the Dream celebrates these successes and highlights the importance of acknowledging accomplishments\, no matter how big or small. \n\n\n\nIn essence\, “I AM the Dream” is a powerful mantra that promotes self-confidence\, goal-setting\, resilience\, and the belief that each person deserves to create the life they desire.
