SUMMARY:The Willie Waldman Project ft. Jake Cinninger of Umphrey's McGee @ Park Theatre Holland\, MI
DESCRIPTION:The Willie Waldman Project ft. Jake Cinninger of Umphrey’s McGeeLive at the Historic Park Theatre – Holland\, MISaturday May 16\, 2026  \n\n\n\n-Willie Waldman on trumpet (Tupac/Phil Lesh)-Jake Cinninger on guitar (Umphrey’s McGee)-Tony Austin on Drums (Kamassi Washington/Santana)-Collin Scott on Bass  \n\n\n\nTickets: $30ADV | $40DOS | $50VIP Balcony | $100 GA Table Upgrade18+ or with adult supervisionDoors @ 7PM | Show @ 8PM \n\n\n\n———————Willie Waldman is an American trumpeter known for blending jazz\, funk\, rock\, and hip-hop into a bold\, high-energy sound that pushes the traditional role of the trumpet far beyond straight-ahead jazz. \n\n\n\nOriginally from California\, Waldman built his reputation as both a dynamic live performer and a sought-after collaborator. He gained wider recognition through his work with Tupac Shakur\, contributing trumpet to tracks that helped shape the cinematic\, West Coast hip-hop sound of the 1990s. His ability to fuse horn lines with modern production opened doors across genres. \n\n\n\nOver the years\, Waldman has worked with artists including:TupacWu TangSublimeSnoop DoggGeorge Clinton + MANY MORE \n\n\n\nAs a solo artist\, he’s released albums that showcase his signature style — soaring trumpet melodies layered over grooves that pull from funk\, hip-hop\, jam band culture\, and progressive jazz. His live shows often lean improvisational\, with extended solos and heavy rhythmic interplay. \n\n\n\nJake Cinninger is best known as the lead guitarist and a primary songwriter for the progressive jam band Umphrey’s McGee. Since joining the band in 2000\, Cinninger has become one of the most respected and technically versatile guitarists in the modern jam scene. \n\n\n\nWith Umphrey’s McGee\, Cinninger helped shape a sound that blends progressive rock\, funk\, metal\, jazz\, and electronic elements — all delivered with deep improvisational freedom. The band is known for its intricate compositions and extended live jams\, and Jake is often at the center of those explosive musical moments. \n\n\n\nBeyond Umphrey’s\, he has collaborated with a wide range of musicians across the jam\, rock\, and fusion worlds\, earning a reputation as a “musician’s musician” — equally comfortable shredding over odd time signatures or crafting thoughtful\, melodic solos.

SUMMARY:An evening with Luke Winslow-King & Roberto Luti @ Park Theatre
DESCRIPTION:An evening with Luke Winslow-King & Roberto LutiSunday June 14\, 2026 Park Theatre @ 248 S. River Ave Holland\, MI 49423 \n\n\n\n18+ OR with adult supervisionDoors @ 6:30PM | Show @ 7:00PM$20ADV | $30DOS | $50VIP BALCONY$100 Table for 4 (GA UPGRADE) \n\n\n\nFrom Cadillac\, Michigan\, to the streets of New Orleans and now living in Spain\, Luke Winslow-King has spent a lifetime shaping a sound that blends blues\, jazz\, folk\, and rock into something cinematic\, soulful\, and unmistakably his own. On this special evening\, he is joined by Tuscan slide guitar virtuoso Roberto Luti\, founding member of the Playing For Change project and collaborator with legends such as Taj Mahal\, Keb Mo\, Keith Richards\, and Ringo Starr\, whose performances have amassed millions of views on YouTube. \n\n\n\nTogether\, Luke and Roberto craft a dynamic dialogue of guitar\, vocals\, and storytelling\, moving effortlessly between intimate reflection and danceable grooves. The performance draws on songs from Luke’s adventurous new album\, Coast of Light\, a collection that explores love\, loss\, and life on the Atlantic edge of Andalusia\, blending raw Delta blues\, atmospheric psychedelia\, and evocative narratives. This is an evening of spontaneity\, connection\, and the electric vitality that comes from two masterful musicians in conversation.

SUMMARY:The Reverend Jesse Ray "Collector" Album Release Party
DESCRIPTION:The Reverend Jesse Ray “COLLECTOR” Album Release PartyWsg. Kitten and the Tonics + Rowdy Fingers & the Ready Boys \n\n\n\nJune 26\, 2026 Park Theatre Holland\, MI $15ADV / $20DOS 18+ or with adult supervisionDoors 7PM | Show 8PM \n\n\n\nThe Reverend Jesse Ray is a high energy one-man-band with crooning vocals\, splitting harmonica\, pounding foot drums\, and rockin’ guitar. After winning three WYCE JAMMIE Awards\, and traveling to Memphis as an International Blues Challenger as Frontman for Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish; The Reverend Jesse Ray has the chops and attitude to rock any stage solo. No venue is safe in the wake of this crushing and primal Rock and Roll phenomenon\, yet one thing is certain: less is more. \n\n\n\nMy new “Collector” record is a return to my roots as a songwriter\, and as a rocker.  I went back to Goon Lagoon in Grand Rapids to work with the legendary Dick Chiclet and find my voice.  It turns out I didn’t really have to look too hard for it.  I really do feel in many ways that this is my first record.  It oozes with the vintage feel and style that 2016’s “Angry” had\, but it sounds more mature and thoughtful\, while maintaining its wild unpredictability.  This is the record that I have always wanted to make; A heavy rocker with no b-sides\, no dumb lyrics\, and all attitude.  Kitten Redman from Kitten and the Tonics played upright bass on half the record\, and gave it a nice rockabilly flair and bounce.  I could write forever about how easy it was for everything to come together in the studio\, and how proud I am of this work.  Dick told me it’s my best work to date.  This record is my heartbeat\, my soul\, and my daily life that I’ve chosen to share with the listener.  So give it a spin\, a little rock and roll won’t kill you.”
