Yes, parking is free for customers in Downtown Holland!
Customer parking is free in all public parking lots marked for either “Customer” or “Public Parking” in Downtown Holland. No need to worry about feeding the meter or rushing back to your car before your times runs out. We want you to relax and enjoy your visit! (Of course, it doesn’t hurt that free parking gives you more money to shop either!)

Parking for Downtown Holland customers and other visitors is available on the street, in the surface parking lots off 7th and 9th Street, and in the 7th and 9th Street Parking Decks. Visitors may park during the day in all lots signed for Customer and/or Public parking. There are no fees for parking in Downtown Holland or time limits, with the exception of spots marked for 15 Minute Parking Only. Overnight parking is not permitted in Downtown Holland unless you are a Downtown Holland resident with a valid overnight residential parking permit.
Vehicles parked overnight in Downtown Holland will be subject to possible citation.
Downtown Holland residents that are not offered a private parking space as part of their lease are eligible to apply for an Overnight Residential Parking Permit from the DDA. Your permit allows you to park in designated lots at designated times as outlined in the Overnight Residential Parking brochure. (Residents are not permitted to park on-street overnight.)
The Downtown Holland parking system is a shared system between customers, employees, and residences. Respecting the Overnight Resident Parking requirements is vital to the success of our parking system. Failure to abide by the requirements may result in the revocation of your permit.
