Tobin Sprout with Bevil Web wsg Silverstiles, Patrick Christopher Wieland

Tobin Sprout is an American artist, musician and children’s book creator. As a musician, he was well known as a founding member of the indie rock band Guided By Voices before going out on his own, releasing his first solo album Carnival Boy, in 1996. He is currently touring as the band Bevil Web, along with Tommy Schichtel (The Concussions, B-Sides, The Fuzzrites ) on Guitar. / Christipher Schichtel – Bass and Michael Housemen – Drums

“The Bevil Web band name was coined by Pete Jamison, original Guided By Voices manager and t-shirt maker,” Tobin tells us. “I used the name for a couple side projects in the ‘90s and decided to use it again for this new group.
