And be sure to join us the Memorial Day Parade, where we honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Girlfriends Weekend

During Girlfriends Weekend, you’re invited to spend three days shopping, dining, and indulging in Downtown Holland with your best gal pals! Your $50 registration fee includes a Girlfriends Weekend swag bag full of goodies, a coupon book with savings to participating shops and restaurants, fun hands-on activities and classes at participating businesses, the chance to win great giveaways, and three days of fun with your girlfriends! For an additional ticket fee, you can also choose to attend the Breakfast and Fashion Show, and a themed Party on Saturday night!
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 15, 2025 | 12pm
Wear your green, gather your friends and family, and join the fun as Holland goes Irish for the day at the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The parade begins at noon at the Eighth Street Market Place, then travels east up 8th Street until it reaches Columbia Avenue. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a community wide celebration that’s fun for the whole family! The parade features floats, vehicles, animals, live music, and so much more. Entries will be handing out goodies such as candy and beads to parade viewers, too!
Spring Fling

Run of the Mill 5k

Windmill Island Gardens’ Run of the Mill is back and they can’t wait to see you at the annual 5K fun-run! Proceeds will continue to support future programs and the ongoing maintenance that helps keep Windmill Island Gardens so beautiful! The Run of the Mill 5k course will take you around the island itself and then head out to Window on the Waterfront before looping back to the island towards the finish line.
Tulip Time Festival

Welcome to the celebration & experience known as the Tulip Time Festival! Since 1929, the city of Holland, Michigan has blossomed with literally hundreds of thousands of tulips — and an equal number of tulip lovers who attend our annual Tulip Time Festival. And the celebration is so much more than tulips… with national entertainment acts, events & activities for all ages, breathtaking sights just off the shores of Lake Michigan, and some of the largest parades in Michigan. Tulip Time is truly an experience you don’t want to miss!
Memorial Day Parade

The annual Holland Memorial Day Parade in Downtown Holland honors all those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The parade begins at 9:30 am the corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue, travels east to Columbia Avenue, and then south to 16th Street, ending at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, where a brief Memorial Day ceremony will be held.
