De Tuin Klas: Ground Rules

Are you planning new garden plantings this season or trying to determine why certain plants aren’t thriving in your landscape? Beautiful gardens start from the ground up! Join us at Windmill Island Gardens on Thursday, March 19 from 6:00pm-7:30pm for our first De Tuin Klas (The Garden Class) where Deanna F. Hedlund, MSU Extension Horticulture Educator, will help you better understand your existing site conditions before you start to make potentially costly changes, including soil testing options and what the test results can mean for your landscape. You will leave this class armed with a site assessment checklist, pH testing strips to take home, and knowledge to give your plants the best chance of flourishing!
De Tuin Klas: Ground Rules will be held at Windmill Island Gardens in the white Celebration Pavilion (1 Lincoln Ave, Holland, MI 49423). Class fees are $15 per person and include all needed supplies.
