And don’t miss our signature event of the summer every Thursday, the Gentex Street Performer Series, when over 25 performing artists fill the sidewalk each evening to entertain the crowds. Holland Farmers Market
Wed & Sat, Beginning May 13 | 8AM – 2PM
The Holland Farmers Market is located at the Eighth Street Market Place in Downtown Holland (150 West 8th Street) and is home to over 75 vendors throughout the season. Local farmers offer freshly-picked fruits and vegetables of every variety, beautiful bouquets of flowers and plants for home and garden. A wide variety of bread baked goods, all natural honey and maple syrup and farm fresh cheese, eggs, and meats are also available, in addition to sweet treats, gourmet specialty foods and much, much more! The Holland Farmers Market is a producers Market, which means that all products sold at the Market are locally grown or made right here in Michigan.
Gentex Street Performer Series

The Gentex Street Performer Series returns to Downtown Holland every Thursday night this summer! The 2026 Series will take place Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm from June 11 through August 13. During the Gentex Street Performer Series, the entire community is invited to enjoy the sights and sounds of 25 different talented artists and groups while they perform free for the public throughout Downtown Holland, including magicians, dancers, balloon twisters, caricature artists, jugglers, and more! Just don’t forget to tip! The Street Performer Series is proudly sponsored by Gentex Corporation.
4th of July Fireworks
Saturday, July 4, 2026
Fireworks will light up the sky over Lake Macatawa this 4th of July! The Macatawa Area Coordinating Council (MACC) hosts the annual 4th of July fireworks at Kollen Park. Bring your family and friends, a blanket or chair, and enjoy the Independence Day celebration! Fireworks will begin at dark, but food trucks will be serving throughout the day. And be sure to Celebrate and Save! in Downtown Holland, where participating business will be offering 20% off discounts to customers wearing red, white, and blue!
Summer Concert Series
Fridays, June 12 – August 14 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Join Holland Parks & Recreation for a free concert at Kollen Park every Friday evening all summer long! Grab your blankets and lawn chairs, pack a picnic dinner or grab a bite from the featured food truck, and enjoy a diverse musical line-up throughout the summer along the beautiful shores of Lake Macatawa! From jazz and oldies to Tejano tunes and more, there’s a concert for everyone to enjoy at this family-friendly event. (Please note that alcohol is not allowed in Kollen Park.)
Fiesta Week

Join us in Downtown Holland all week long celebrate the vibrant Latinx culture that unites us from July 15 to July 19! Fiesta Week 2026 will be a week-long extravaganza, packed with exciting events for everyone in the community. From cultural activities to authentic food, entertainment, car shows, and live music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
